St. Mary's, West Dean is part of a joint parish with Holy Trinity, East Grimstead. It is also part of the wider Clarendon Team of Churches which extends westwards to Alderbury, northwards to Winterslow and southwards to Whiteparish. We are in the Diocese of Salisbury.
As a village church community, our congregation is made up of people from different Christian backgrounds, and we would love to see our Church grow in faith as well as in numbers. We are about to set out our vision for the coming months and years, so we are in exciting times.
Our church building is in a stunning location, overlooking the recreation ground. We would love to welcome you, whether you are living in the village, working in the village, or visiting.

One of recent new ventures is our monthly Tea Time Service. It is intentionally informal and currently draws in young families as well as octogenarians!
We meet in St. Mary's on the second Sunday of each month between 4pm and 5pm. Our time together includes interactive worship, a hands on activity (sometimes a little messy!) and the sharing of drinks and cake.Bible study group
meets roughly once a fortnight in the home of one of our members. Further details from the vicar.
